The Christmas magic in Prague

From the end of November untill the beginning of January, the Prague Castle livens up with a lovely holiday atmosphere.

Wooden huts and Christmas lights create a magical atmosphere, brightly decorated stocked with local handicrafts - ceramics, jewelry, embroidered lace, wooden toys, scented candles, Christmas tree ornaments, hats and gloves, and puppets and dolls dressed in traditional costume.

Visitors can taste traditional Czech food and drinks and observe traditional foods being made.
Large hams are roasted on spits, tasty barbecued sausages (klobása), and cakes and pastries such as 'Trdelník', a hot sugar-coated pastry.

The mighty Christmas tree at the Old Town Square, large Bethlehem scene depicting Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and the Three Kings in a wooden stable create and Christmas carols make people feel the Christmas is coming.
